first of all, it's a very nice piece, i like your vector stuff there's a Tartakovsky quality to it.

Something that could make this piece even better would be to make the armors reflective. They look like metal but there's no reflection from the sky or ground on them.

The blur on the planes is a nice touch, it adds a feeling of layers and depth to the picture. Did you try a motion blur or the smudge tool (with proper setting?
